Error Nuker developers TrekBlue have simplified the process of trying to fix your registry if it has become corrupt or your system performance has been getting slower. The program will scan your registry automatically without you having to spending large amounts of time setting it up. One click of the scan button and Error Nuker begins scanning your Windows registry thoroughly.
When you first open Error Nuker you will find a simple and straightforward user interface. The program starts in the scan window. From here you can choose if you want the program to automatically scan for registry problems or you can pick from 13 different registry variables that you want Error Nuker to search for. These include scanning for shared dll’s, file extensions, application paths and uninstall info.
Once you start the scan you aren’t given any results as the scan progresses like many of the other registry programs reviewed here but once the scan has completed you are shown a results screen that lists all problems found within the registry. These are all broken down by type and if you wish you can manually fix individual entries or have the program remove them all automatically.
Error Nuker will create a backup file of any registry entry it deletes so if there are any problems later on you can simply load up the backup and restore your registry to where it was before.
Another feature of Error Nuker is the built-in scheduler so you can setup the program to scan hands-free every day, week or month. You can also make Error Nuker start scanning when you first boot up your PC.
Like many other registry repair programs Error Nuker has a startup program manager. As you install more programs on your computer many of them set themselves up to automatically load when Windows is first started. Most of these program aren’t needed at the time though so they just sit there bogging down your computer and causing performance issues. With the startup manager you can stop these programs from loading when Windows starts, which in turn frees up valuable resources.
